Hi, I’m Kellie! As an award-winning art director with a passion for branding, campaigns, and illustration, I specialize in building thoughtful, strategic creative that is as impactful as it is engaging.

From concept to execution, I bring big ideas to life through compelling visuals, cohesive brand systems, and meticulously crafted design. My work has been recognized at both the local and national levels, including a 2025 Silver National ADDY Award as well as an Integrated Best in Show Award. And I’m proud to have been named the 2015 Designer of the Year by AAF Acadiana.

My creative foundation began in print production, where I developed a deep respect for craft and a strong understanding of design fundamentals. That technical expertise quickly evolved into a strategic creative career at the award-winning agency BBR Creative, where I helped conceptualize and execute high-performing, award-winning campaigns. As Senior Art Director, I not only upheld our creative standards but helped shape them—leading brand strategy development, directing integrated campaigns, collaborating closely with copywriters and web developers, mentoring interns, and working alongside my creative director to strengthen our department’s processes. My professional development also led me to becoming the president of the Acadiana chapter of the American Advertising Federation for two years, which supported and further developed my skills as a leader, collaborator, and presenter.

While known for being thoughtful and strategic, I’m equally recognized for my enthusiasm and positive outlook. I believe great work happens when teams feel inspired and energized! As one coworker shared, “Kellie makes it a point to add FUN to her work. She brings a great sense of humor to her team, and it often shows up in her projects.” I firmly believe that even the most complex challenges have a bright side—and usually a creative opportunity hiding inside them.

Proudly born and raised in South Louisiana, I made the move to Denver in 2022 to continue growing both personally and professionally. Currently, I an the Senior Art Director at the award-winning branding, marketing, and web design agency, AOR. When I’m not working, you can still find me working on freelance, exploring the city, planning a costume, headed out to a movie, learning the ukulele, or snuggled up with my pets and a good book.
